Live this Friday, from Kugelbake Halle in Cuxhaven, Niedersachsen Germany, Russian Alexander Alexeev (21-2, 19KO’s) steps into the ring against South Africa’s #1 ranked Cruiserweight Daniel Bruwer (22-2-1, 19KO’s) for the vacant WBC International Cruiserweight Title.

Also on the card, Goekalp Oezekler (11-1, 5KO’s) a Turkish boxer who lives and trains in Germany takes on 32 year old Austrian Gogi Knezevic for the vacant WBC Mediterranean Middleweight Championship.


Maccarinelli Returns

This Friday November 18th, live from York Hall, in Bethnal Green London, Former WBO Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Maccarinelli (32-5, 25KO’s) takes on unbeaten Hungarian prospect Gyorgy Marosi (12-0, 8KO’s) in a Light Heavyweight contest.

Also on the card, undefeated Cruiserweight Tony Conquest (7-0, 2KO’)  takes on Toks Owoh (20-5, 11KO’s)

On Saturday November 12th it’s a battle of undefeated heavyweights as 6’9″ British Heavyweight Tyson Fury (16-0, 11KO’s) defends his Commonwealth (British Empire) Heavyweight Title against NABA Canada Heavyweight Champion Neven Pajkic (16-0, 5KO’s) in Manchester UK.

Coming off of an exciting 5th round TKO stoppage of Nicolai Firtha in Belfast this past September, Tyson Fury is slowly making a climb to becoming the next big thing in the Heavyweight division.  His opponent, Bosnian-born Canadian Pajkic  enjoyed a 10 round unanimous decision victory against Jonnie White back in February, winning the vacant NABA Canada Heavyweight title.

These 2 massive heavyweights have a true dislike for one another and should make for an exciting match-up with the winner surely not far from a big money fight in the heavyweight division.

-Winner of the Super Bantamweight Prizefighter tournament in May of last year, Irish southpaw Willie Casey (12-1, 8KO’s) takes on undefeated 21 year old Kid Galahad (10-0, 4KO’s)

Lebedev defeats Toney

Russian Cruiserweight Denis Lebedev dominated James Toney for 12 rounds and earned the unanimous decision victory on friday in Moscow, claiming the Interim WBA World Cruiserweight Title.  Lebedev pounded Toney in the corners and against the ropes where he landed many clean shots that had Toney staggering all over the ring.  Lebedev used his fast jab and heavy left hook from the southpaw stance to control Toney who never really got started in this fight.

Also on the Card:
-Ukrainian Light Heavyweight Ismayl Sillakh defeated Ali Ismailov by KO to go 17-0.  Sillakh looked impressive using an effective jab and ending the fight with a beautiful right uppercut followed by the one-two that sent Ismailov to the canvas for the 10 count.

-Russian Super Bantamweight Alexander Bakhtin kept his undefeated record in tact after defeating Luis Melendez of Colombia by unanimous decision, and dropping him twice in the 3rd with hooks to the body.

This Friday November 4th, Live from the Khodynka Ice Palace in Moscow Russia, Hometown hero and #5 ranked Cruiserweight in the world Denis Lebedev takes on 43-year-old James “Lights Out” Toney in 12 rounds of boxing for the Interim WBA World Cruiserweight Title.

The 32-year-old Lebedev (22-1, 17 KO’s) is coming off of a devastating 10th round knockout victory over Roy Jones Jr. in May of this year while Toney (73-6-3, 44 KO’s) has been enjoying wins over sub-par competition in the latter stages of a storied career that spans 4 decades.  The Russian Press has this bout dubbed a “Rocky 4 Remake” as the aging American goes into Moscow to defend his countryman who was badly beaten by the young Russian lion.
